Year 4 Girls Football Festival
Thanks to Tom Partridge at Chuter Ede Balderton, we were able to take a group of Year 4 footballers to a football festival at Chuter Ede Balderton. The mini tournament was played between Lowe's Wong, Chuter Ede, Barnby Road and Farndon.
Although it was the first time playing a competitive game of football for many of the girls, you would not have known that watching them play. They were outstanding!
They won 1, drew 1 and lost 1 which matched all the other schools results meaning that every team secured 4 points!
I was so proud of all the girls and hope this experience ignites a love for football and sport - well done girls!
